Glinda Ann Moses (Lynch), age 66, of Bishopville, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Glinda was born in Georgetown, Delaware, on May 1, 1960, to Dallas and Ann Lynch. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished family member whose life was defined by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her.
She leaves behind her loving father, Dallas Lynch; her beloved husband of 36 years, James Moses; and her three children and their spouses, Jessica Ager (Nick), James Moses (Megan), and Nicholas Moses (Annie). She is also survived by her brothers, Mark Lynch (Deanna) and Dallas Lynch (Ann).
Glinda's infectious love and warm spirit will be dearly missed by her many nephews, great-nephews, great-great-nephew, nieces, and great-nieces. She was especially blessed to share precious time with her grandson, Gianni Ager, and her newborn grandson, Oliver Moses, who brought her so much joy.
Glinda will forever be remembered for her selfless and unconditional love. She had a beautiful way of putting the needs of others before her own, always offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or a loving heart. Her kindness, generosity, and devotion to her family were at the center of everything she did. She treasured friendships both old and new, and the many lives she touched will carry her memory in their hearts.
She found happiness in life's simple pleasures, including quilting, working on puzzles, prayer, gardening her flowers, and watching beautiful sunsets from the porch. She loved live music and shows, fishing with her family, and, most of all, visiting her relatives whenever she had the chance. These moments, shared with the people she loved, were among her greatest joys.
Glinda was truly the heart of her family—a loving presence who brought people together and made everyone feel special. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and unconditional love will live on through her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will remain a lasting part of the lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ann Lynch.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, DE 19945, where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon.
