It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of George (Walley) Mitchell. He was born on November 16, 1938, to George and Margaret Mitchell.  He departed this world peacefully at home into the arms of Jesus on February 15, 2025.

He is survived by his loving wife JoAnn Mitchell of 61 years, daughter, Lynn Lanza, granddaughters, Aspen, Sommer, and Camryn Lanza.  He was the proud Great Grandfather to Grayson Thorne. He is also survived by his sisters Jean Hastings and Linda Wilson.

His devotion and love for his family will be deeply cherished and missed. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time and a sincere thank you is extended to Compassionate Care Hospice.
