George Thomas Bradford, Jr., affectionately known as Tommy, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on January 30, 2026, in Dagsboro, Delaware, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 28, 1932, in Accomac, Virginia, Tommy was the son of the late George Thomas Bradford, Sr. and Mary (Bundick) Bradford.

Tommy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic. After his service, he dedicated his life to farming, a passion that began in his childhood. He worked as a supervisor with Arrow Safety in Georgetown, Delaware, and later drove a dump truck for Morris Justice until his retirement in 1992. Even in retirement, Tommy continued to farm and was well-known for his produce stand on Vines Creek Road.

He cherished his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed simple pleasures such as being outdoors, raising animals, and visiting Amish Country. Tommy was also fond of westerns, old country music, and shopping at Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight.

Tommy is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Marjorie J. (Turner) Bradford; his daughter, Audrey Delp, and her companion, Thomas Major; his grandchildren, Chelsea Delp, Brittany Delp, and Robert Delp; his great-grandchildren, Gracie Jean, Lincoln Dixon, Brielle Beckett, and Brent Beckett II; his sister, Barbara Lynch; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his son-in-law, Robert A. Delp, and his sisters, Mary Masten, Ann Stewart, and Carolyn Hickman.

A service to celebrate Tommy's life will be held on his 94th birthday, February 28, 2026, at St. George's United Methodist Church in Frankford, Delaware. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., with interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Attendees are requested to dress in a western theme in honor of Tommy.
