Frances Lee Magee, age 91, of Lewes, DE went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2024.

Frances was born in Smyrna, DE on December 29, 1932 daughter of the late William Staten Smith and the late Madeline (Penuel) Smith.  She was a faithful and longtime member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lewes, DE.  Frances will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Richard Odel Magee; a daughter, Adele Joanne Magee and a son, Richard Odel Magee, Jr.  Frances is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Estella Braswell of Key West, FL and Debbie Hopkins and her husband, Ed of Rehoboth Beach, DE; 10 grandchildren, Elaine Chiasson, Eddie Braswell and his wife, Rachel, Phillip Rose, Shauna Magee, Richie Magee, Megan Magee, Katie Howard and her husband, Dustin, Edward Hopkins, IV and his wife, Jennifer, Andrew Hopkins and his wife, Jessica and Stephanie Brown and her husband, Tyler and 17 great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Henlopen Memorial Park in Milton, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Frances' name to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 21265 John J. Williams Hwy., Lewes, DE 19958.
