Faye N. Franklin, age 82, of Dagsboro, DE passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Faye was born in Frankford, Delaware on September 13, 1942 daughter of the late Larry Toomey and the late Rittie Hudson Toomey.  She loved taking care of her family and her home.

In addition to taking care of her family, she loved to cook and prepare big meals for her family.  Faye also enjoyed reading her Bible faithfully and working on her puzzle books.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, wife and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood E. Franklin, Sr. in 2017; a son, Ronald Lee Franklin; a great granddaughter, Hailee Franklin and her seven siblings.  Faye is survived by her four children, Linwood E. Franklin, Jr. and his wife, Virginia of Millsboro, DE, Billy L. Franklin and his wife, Donna of Dagsboro, DE, Bobby M. Franklin and his wife, Jane of Millsboro, DE and Craig A. Franklin of Dagsboro, DE and his fiancé Stacy West of Frankford, DE.  She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Scott Franklin and his wife, Desiree, Jon Franklin, Josh Franklin and Robin Franklin; 2 step grandchildren, Jon Bruch and Shanna Smith and her husband, Duane; 7 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 41 Thatcher St., Frankford, DE 19945, where friends and family may visit after 2 P.M.  Interment will follow at Dagsboro Redmen Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
