Elizabeth Ann Lewis, age 88, of Roxana, DE formerly of Topsail Island, NC passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 after a long illness.

Libby was born in Roxana, DE on March 7, 1935, daughter of George W. and Estella Mae Lewis. Libby was the youngest of three children.

After raising her two children, Libby went back to college and earned her degree in Secretarial Management and moved to Wilmington, DE to pursue her career as an Administrative Aid for AFLCIO. Once retired, Libby moved to Topsail Island, NC to be near her son, Scott. She was a loving mother and enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life as well as her dogs.

Libby is survived by her two children, Kimberly M. Powell and husband Frank W. Powell of Millsboro, DE and Scott P. Murray and wife Maria Moro Murray of Topsail Island, NC; grandchildren, Leigh, John, Gene and Scott Powell and her many loved nieces and nephews and her dog Coco.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Kurt Murray; sister, Vietta Long and brother, George W. Lewis.

Services and burial are private.
