Donna D. Redman, age 74, of Frankford, DE passed away peacefully with her loving family on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at her home.

Donna was born in Upland, PA on September 7, 1949, daughter of the late Domenic John Durbano and Mildred (Huddle) Durbano.  She served her country from 1974-1977 in the United States Army.

Donna was extremely proud of her military service and traveled the world with her husband during his military career.  She loved her home in Frankford and was proud of all of her landscaping and what she and her husband, Kenneth built.  She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life and made many life-long friends from her places of employment.

Donna will be remembered as a selfless individual always focused on putting the needs of others first.  She loved her children and grandchildren and was always their biggest supporter.   Donna also enjoyed gardening, puzzles, painting and loved the comforts of her own home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Redman in 2012.  She is survived by her two children, Amy Peca and her husband Joseph Peca, Jr. of Cadiz, KY and Ryan Redman and his wife, Maria Eliza Urgiles of Arlington, VA; two grandchildren, Joseph Peca, III and Isaac Peca; two siblings, Angeline Durbano of Bear, DE and John Domenic Durbano and his wife, Anna of Oxford, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970, where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery 26669 Patriots Way Millsboro, DE at 1PM.

Donna specifically requested that in lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions in her name instead be directed to one of the following organizations: 1) Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or 2) the Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd., Milford, DE 19963.
