Donald William Hayden, known affectionately as Don, passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 56 in Lewes, Delaware.

Born on May 6, 1968, in Wilmington, Delaware; he grew up to be a loving father, son, and brother, cherished by all who knew him.

Don graduated from Liberty University, where he forged many lifelong friendships and laid the foundations for his future.

Throughout his life, he remained a steadfast presence in his family, always ready with support and love.

Don loved sports, especially the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Braves.

He leaves behind his daughter, Taylor; son, Zach; mother, Joyce Hayden; father, Gary Hayden; and brother, Tom Hayden. Each of them remembers Don for his unwavering kindness and the deep bonds he nurtured within his family.

A memorial service to celebrate Don's life will be held at The Lighthouse Church, 21265 John J Williams Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958, on Saturday, August 10 at 11 am.

The service will be a time to reflect on his impact and share memories of a life well-lived.

Don's warmth and generosity will be missed, but his legacy of love and compassion will endure in the hearts of those he touched.
