Donald G Ebner, 94, of Lewes, DE passed away at home peacefully in his sleep on July 27, 2023 surrounded by family and his beloved pet BB.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, and loving ways.  He loved his family more than anything else.  You could find him most days sitting on his porch watching "his" ducks in the pond and all the wildlife outside the windows.  In the fall and winter, he religiously watched the Eagles along with his daughter.

Donald was born and raised in Philadelphia and grew up in Delaware County.  He married the love of his life, Dorcas, in 1950 and served in the Navy during the Korean War.  He then had a long and successful career at Fidelity Bank before retiring after 40 years. After retirement he moved with his wife to Lewes Delaware where he became a member of Conley's United Methodist Church, the American Legion, Post 28, and the Elks.  He also worked with Lend-a-Hand.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Donald is preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorcas, his sister and brothers, and sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws.  He is survived by his daughter Gail Ebner Jones and son Bruce Ebner (Nancy), grandchildren Chris Ebner (Misty) and Kimberly Chandler (James), great grandchildren Wyatt, Kyle, and Shawn Chandler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held August 10, 2023, at Conley's Chapel, 22150 Robinsonville Road, Lewes DE. Visitation starts at 10:00 am and the service starts at 11:00 am.
