Diana Theresa Ohtersen, born on September 1, 1957, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on March 25, 2025. She was preceded in sleep by her beloved parents, Theresa E. (George) Ohtersen and Alfred R. Ohtersen, as well as her former husband, Dennis R. Crouse, and her fiancé, Richard L. Shearer.

Diana is survived by her loyal and dearest sister, Candice R. (Ohtersen) Isherwood, and brother, Alfred R. Ohtersen Jr. She leaves behind a loving family including her niece, Alexa R. (Isherwood) Kendall, and nephews, Joshua O. Isherwood and Benjamin J. Isherwood. Diana was also blessed with two great-nieces, Theresa and Lila Kendall, and three great-nephews, Elijah and Judah Kendall, and Jackson Isherwood.

An active member of Mariners Bethel Methodist Church, Diana established the "Clean My Sheep" program, a ministry dedicated to collecting and distributing toiletries and personal hygiene products to those in need. She was a volunteer and a helping hand for several other ministries within Mariners.

Diana's professional life was marked by over 49 years in the Convention/Meeting Planning field, with 20 years as an employee and over 20 years self-employed. She truly loved her profession and cherished the personal relationships she formed while traveling around the world.

Living close to the beach, Diana enjoyed sunrise and sunset walks, shell collecting, and moments of reflection. Known for her generous heart, great sense of humor, and strong compassion for others, Diana was a true animal lover and a faithful daughter, sister, auntie, and friend.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 16, 2025 at Mariners Bethel Global Church.  81 Central Ave., Ocean View DE.  Visitation will be at 10 AM, with her Service at 11 AM – lunch to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
