Deborah "Debbie" L. Waddington, age 69, of Millsboro, DE passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

She was born in Wilmington, De on July 23, 1954 to the late, William Andrews and Lorraine Spratt.

Debbie held various positions while residing in Carney's Point, NJ including working at a deli and a credit manager for a wholesale florist. After relocating to Delaware 24 years ago she works for ten years as a receptionist for the Delaware Blood Bank and most recently as the office manager for Paradise Grill.

Her family will remember her as the glue that held everyone together. She enjoyed being involved in the community as a volunteer for the youth Soccer Club at Carneys Point and the Little League. In Delaware, she was a member of the Pot Nets Home Owners Association. She enjoyed vacationing in the Florida Keys, loved boating and treasured the time she spent with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gilbert R. Waddington and children: Dan Waddington (Paula) of Millsboro, De, Kellie Cancglin (Tom) of Logan Township, NJ, Cory Waddington of Penns Grove, NJ; brother John Andrews (Debbie) of Newark, NJ; sister Dee Roe of New Castle, DE; grandchildren, Christina Sparks, Anthony Smith, Stephen Pistoia, Hannah Pistoia, Evan Cancglin, Ben Cancglin, Tommy Fink and Alley Fink and one great granddaughter Hunter Sparks.

A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE 19966 where friends and family may gather beginning at 10 a.m.
