David Ray Walker, 75 years old of Bethany Beach, DE passed away peacefully at his home on May 2, 2023. David was born on January 7, 1948 in Walton, WV to the late Melvin Dexter (Deck) Walker and Hallie Walker.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spencer, WV. Along with his brothers, David owned and operated Security Equipment Distributors in Beltsville, MD. Once retired, David and Nora relocated to Bethany Beach, Delaware and enjoyed every minute of it! He enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing with his buddies, gardening, landscaping, fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

David is survived by his devoted wife Nora Ellis Walker of 50 years. His beloved son David Paul and wife Stacy Walker of Marietta, Ohio and daughter Cindy and son-in-law Don Cole of Akron OH; his beloved nieces Elizabeth Olson, Sherry Koontz and Meredith Golub; his cherished grandchildren Hallie Drew Walker, Michael and Shaun Bartel; great grandchildren Ivy Drew Lewis Piper and Hudson Golub and one on the way, and his dear nephew Larry Walker.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers John, Paul, and Jim.

A celebration of life service will be held later in Scaggsville, Maryland.
