Chris Hudson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 20, after a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kendall and Lenora Hudson and Vincent and Anne Bassett. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Melody Hudson, sister Kim Frey (Chris), and an entire loving family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed.

In his younger years, Chris spent his days surfing and skateboarding. Some of his fondest memories were the years he worked at the Bethany Beach Ice Cream Parlor, and he remained friends with his coworkers over the years.

Chris was an incredibly creative soul… He was self-taught in many areas, including knife-making and blacksmithing, computer design and repair, and to his most recent love of photography. He had a great love for animals and nature, and was skilled at capturing images that showed the beauty of God's creation. He loved visiting places on Delmarva where he could take photographs of birds and other creatures.

Most of all, Chris had a great love for others and spent his days caring for his family.
