Christine Ledford, age 67, of Frankford, DE, formerly of Charles County, MD, went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

She enjoyed playing games, watching football and baseball, and spending time at the beach with her family and friends. She was known by all who met her as a woman of abundant kindness, deep faith, and unwavering love.

Christine dedicated her life to serving others through her church and various volunteer and charitable organizations. She was a proud and active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe, where her faith served as the foundation of her life. She lived each day with compassion, kindness, and gratitude. She was also a proud member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and considered its members her extended family. Her fun spirit and warm smile brought light to everyone around her.

She is predeceased by her husband, William 'Chuck' Ledford; sister, Geraldine 'Geri' Rabbitt; mother, Barbara Wehrle; and father, Lewis Wehrle, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Allen  and her husband Mike; grandson, Tyler Ryan; sisters, Charlotte Bryan and Virginia Lastner and her husband Mark; brothers, Lewis Wehrle III and Douglas Wehrle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, a grandniece, and grandnephews (Sonny, Lauren, Billy, Philip, Tommy, Rachel, Ainsley, Douglas, Brennan, Olivia, Charlie, Ian, and Millie).  She is also survived by her stepson, William 'Billy' Ledford and his wife Jenn, and their children, William and Megan.

A visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission Church, 35318 Church Road, Frankford, DE 19945, followed by a mass at 2 p.m. A celebration of Christine's life will immediately follow at East Sussex Moose Lodge, 35993 Zion Church Rd, Frankford, DE 19945. All are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
