With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Cheri Michelle Reason (née Watts), at the age of 40, on April 12, 2025, at Christianna Care Wilmington Hospital.

Born in Winnsboro, S.C., Cheri was a beloved daughter, sister and mother.

Known for her boisterous spirit, contagious smile and playful antics, Cheri had a big heart that knew no Boundaries, caring for creatures large and small.   A gifted creative writer, she also found joy in music and formed friendships wherever she went.

Cheri is survived by her son Wyatt A. Reason and husband A. Keith Reason of Belton, S.C.; her parents James V. and Elaine L. Watts of Dagsboro, DE; her brothers, Jeremy C. Watts (m. Jennifer) of Cary, N.C., Jonathan E. Watts (m. Christina) of Elsmere, DE and James R. Watts (m. Courtney) of Greenbackville, VA and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be announced in late summer 2025.
