Charles I. Blizzard, Jr. fondly known to friends and family as "Sonny" Passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at age 84, his family lovingly by his side.

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife Catherine I. Blizzard, his parents; Charles I Blizzard, and the late Mary Blizzard. Charles is survived by sons, David Blizzard (wife Caryn), John Blizzard, his furry granddaughter Gypsy and members of his extended family. Charles was brother to the late Shirley Kardos, Barbara Chomo and William Blizzard.

Charles honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, as a cook. Charles proudly worked at Chrysler for over 30 years. Charles was an active member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, serving in many leadership positions.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends and family may gather after 10 a.m. Internment will follow at Camden Odd Fellows Cemetery.
