Carolene Mildred Haller, age 84, of Millville, DE formerly of Montclair, VA passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE surrounded by her loving family.

Carolene graduated from Berkeley Secretarial & Business School in East Orange, NJ and worked in private industries and the federal government retiring from the Defense Logistics Agency.  She enjoyed traveling, giving back to the community and spending time with family and friends. Carolene was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) and the Delmarva Chapter of Central Intelligence Retirees Association (CIRA).

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Haller of Millville, DE; a son, Dave Haller and his wife, Julie of Gilbert, AZ; a daughter, Kelley Rushin of Fredericksburg, VA; three grandchildren, Darren Rushin, Landen Haller, Caroline Haller; a twin sister Carolyn DeStories of Toms River, NJ and several nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be held privately.
