Carole Francis Gulbronson, 88 of Selbyville passed away on December 28, 2024, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE after having a fall on Christmas Eve.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Ralph Moser and Myrl Powers Moser, her husband, Neil Gulbronson, and brothers Charles Moser, Donald Moser and Robert Moser. Carole is survived by her sons Kyle Gulbronson (Christine) with whom she lived, Steven Gulbronson (Clara), grandchildren Steven Gulbronson Jr. (Trinetta), Adam Gulbronson, Erik Gulbronson and Lauren Gulbronson (John). Sister-in-law Janet Gulbronson Catlett (Denny). Two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. She is also survived by her best friend of almost 60 years, Beverly Pennypacker.

Carole worked for Avon Products in Newark, DE for over 30 years as a stock analyst before retiring to Selbyville full-time in 1991.  She also worked part-time after retirement for 6 years at Candy Kitchen at Sea Colony. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who loved her family wholeheartedly. She especially loved children, always looking forward to spending time with the youngsters (the babies) in the family.   Carole and Neil made many close friends at the beach who became like family.  Carole and Neil also enjoyed spending time at their "cabin" in West Virginia.

Carole was known as a perfectionist when caring for her home and family often carrying a bottle of Windex to make sure her glass doors and tabletops were smudge and fingerprint free.   She was also an outstanding cook and enjoyed cooking meals for friends and family and loved hosting holiday dinners.  She was known for her spunky personality and loved to have a good time with family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Carole received wonderful care during her illness due to the dedicated nursing staff at Beebe Medical Center.  In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations in her honor to the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing.
