Bobby Wilson Godfrey, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. Bobby was born on June 5, 1966, in Salisbury, Maryland, to Falyn Tingle and Bobby Godfrey.

Bobby graduated from Indian River High School and Sussex Vo-Tech in 1985. Following his education, he proudly served in the United States Navy from 1985 through 1993, earning an honorable discharge.

Bobby had a deep love for classic American Cars -especially his Camaros and Mustangs- and spent countless hours tinkering with old pickups an keeping them in pristine conditions. He also had a special place in his heart for animals. His loyal companions, Hank and later Ace, were never far from his side, with Ace faithfully staying with him until his passing.

Bobby treasured his time spent in Bishopville on the family farm with his Uncle Bud and Aunt Dot, creating memories that stayed with him throughout his life.

A skilled certified plumber, Bobby later found joy in a career in long-distance trucking, where he enjoyed the open road and independence that came with it.

Bobby will be remembered as a gentle, caring, and hardworking man, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kindness, sense of humor, and devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Godfrey, brother, Everett Godfrey, Uncle Prentice Tingle (Julia Ann) Gary Tingle, and his beloved cousin Jeff Godfrey.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Falyn Tingle: sisters, Debbie Patterson (Bob) and Tammy Kane (Bob): Uncle Bryan Tingle (Debbie): and several nephews who loved and admired him dearly.

In keeping with Bobby's wishes, no formal services will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory may make a donation to the Worcester County Humane Society, a cause close to his heart.
