Retired Colonel Anthony R. Boccuti, M.D., U.S. Army, age 89, of Millville, DE formerly of Towson, MD passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE.

Anthony was born in Baltimore, MD on November 25, 1935 son of the late Oscar Anthony Boccuti and the late Rosina (Panebianco) Boccuti.  He was a graduate of McDonogh School, completed his undergraduate at Johns Hopkins and also graduated from the University of Maryland Medical School.

Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Army as an anesthesiologist.  He retired in 1984 with a rank of Colonel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Salvatore and Ascanio Boccuti; a sister, Rosalie Solomon and a stepdaughter, Vanessa Price.  Anthony is survived by his wife of 26 years, Francine M. (Schaech) Boccuti; a son, David Boccuti, a brother, Arthur Boccuti and a sister, Marie (Boccuti) Fields.  Anthony is also survived by his two stepsons, Marshall Krebs and his wife, Greta and Lawrence Krebs; four step granddaughters and 2 step great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will be held privately at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
