Anne Louise "Annie" Haley, age 58, passed away on November 5, 2026 peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 14, 1967, Annie grew up on a small farm in New Castle, Delaware, where she developed a lifelong love for nature and animals. She graduated from William Penn High School in 1985 before pursuing her passion for creativity at the Art Institute of Philadelphia.

Artistic and talented, Annie genuinely enjoyed creating her own works and spent much of her time immersed in her artistic projects. Driven by a profound desire to care for others, Annie later earned her degree from the Delaware Technical Community College (Del Tech) School of Nursing. As a nurse, she brought immense compassion, comfort, and healing to countless individuals throughout her career.

Her kindness extended equally to four-legged friends, and she generously volunteered her time at the local Humane Society. At home, Annie expressed her love through food. She was an extraordinary cook who delighted in feeding friends and family, and she was famously proud of her award-winning crab cakes. Annie was a faithful member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bethany Beach, DE.

Annie is survived by her devoted father, James Haley; her sister, Dianne Hoard (Rob); and her brothers, Joseph Haley and Tim Haley (Liz). She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Anne, and her brother, James.

Services will be private.
