Alfred Charles Holtzclaw (91), husband of Shirley Ann Holtzclaw, peacefully passed away on February 10, 2025 after a long battle with pneumonia.

Al was born in Altoona, AL on April 22, 1933 to Harvey Lee and Vivian Holtzclaw.  Al served the U.S. Navy; retired from government services in 1996. He met his beloved wife Shirley in Pennsylvania. They married in January of 1958 and moved to Maryland in 1960. After retiring in 1996 they moved to Delaware where they enjoyed many happy times being retired and meeting new friends. Al and Shirley loved to vacation, especially by the water.

He leaves behind his loving wife Shirley A. Holtzclaw from Millsboro, DE, of which they just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary; son Donald Holtzclaw and wife Theresa, his twin grandsons David and Ryan; son Douglas Holtzclaw (deceased), his two grandsons Phillip and Alex and three great grandchildren, Lucas, Kinley and Aubrey.

He also leaves behind three nephews, Craig, Brian, Stuart and two nieces, Valerie and Heather.
