Adolph A. Perticari, age 88, of Dagsboro, Delaware, formerly of Northern Virginia, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Born in Washington, D.C. on February 7, 1938, Adolph was the devoted son of the late Luigi Perticari and Catherine (Maschi) Perticari. He carried with him throughout his life a deep sense of duty, honor, and faith. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserves, exemplifying his lifelong commitment to service.

Adolph was a graduate of St. Dominic's Catholic High School in Washington, D.C., and went on to build a distinguished career as an analyst with the Department of the Navy, from which he retired after many dedicated years.

A man of profound faith, Adolph's life was deeply rooted in his church community at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bethany Beach, Delaware. There, he was a familiar and cherished presence actively involved in the Knights of Columbus and a devoted member of the Men's Club. His faith guided his actions, his relationships, and the quiet generosity he extended to those around him.

Adolph took great pride in his Italian heritage, which was reflected in his love of family, tradition, and togetherness. Nothing brought him greater joy than time spent with those he loved. He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Lou, Frank, and Tony, and his two sisters, Theresa and Rosie.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 55 years, Dolores (Robert) Perticari; his son, Marcus Perticari; and his four cherished grandchildren, Elijah, Nadia, Natalie, and Avery Perticari, who will carry forward his legacy of love and faith.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Adolph's name to St. Ann Catholic Church at the above address or to Knights of Columbus Saint Ann Council #16771, c/o St. Ann Catholic Church.
