Bonard Baker Timmons Sr, of Dagsboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3rd, 2013 at the Atlantic Shores nursing home in Millsboro. He was born December 17th, 1914 to Rachel & Elijah Timmons, in Dagsboro, where he lived most of his life.
Timmons was a hard-working farmer who lived a colorful life as an adventurer, entrepreneur and jokester. He was a passionate man who enjoyed nature and loved taking long walks to observe all the animals and wildlife.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Elizabeth Hitchens and twelve siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Holton, two sons, Bonard Timmons Jr and Edward Timmons Sr., eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Prince George’s Cemetery in Dagsboro
